In the Summer of 2008 BBC Radio Derby contacted Slim Brother and asked him to coach 30-stone Maxine Wood who needed to lose weight 2-stone for a life saving heart operation.

The weight was lost, the operation done, but Maxines battles continued and is still being coaching by Slim Brother.
